This work springs an objects’ status from an everyday pavement encounter – discarded even as they remain
virile – toward a new unity, marvellous and visceral. Stretched to contain or contained to stretch,
these loops within loops are arranged intuitively; manipulation is necessary, but a snap signals a point
of no return.
